Squirrel Subspecies – Löwenzahn Explainer

WOW! So much cute!

Kaiserbrand contributed two explanatory films for the Löwenzahn episode "Squirrel - The Enchanted Nuts". In this animation we explain the difference between the three squirrel types. And how did the American gray squirrel come to Europe?

Unfortunately, we are not allowed to upload the videos we animated for the Löwenzahn episodes to YouTube. So we converted a few small scenes as GIFs so you can get a tiny glimpse of our animation.

Just like hand-made

Here you can see the creation process of the backgrounds for this animation. We start with painting rough coloured shapes in Adobe Photoshop,. Then we add shading, details and textures using special digital brush presets to create a hand-painted look.
