Fascinating Space "Travel Guide to the Moon"

Tips for intergalactic travelers

“Space – the final frontier. Vast expanses, planets, moons, dwarf stars that no human has ever seen before - oh, nonsense! How about a trip to the moon?

Astronaut Dr. Insa Thiele-Eich takes the audience into the space with her and presents the moon as a potential travel destination. When would be the best travel time, what will the weather be like and what should you pack if you want to travel to our neighboring satellite?" (Source: ZDFinfo)

An almost genuine spacesuit

The pilot episode “Travel Guide to the Moon” (43 min) was the result of months of close cooperation with the production company werwiewas.

Kaiserbrand was responsible for the look and feel of the entire episode, for the design and animation of the explanatory films and motion design sequences (15 minutes in total !!), as well as for the keying and compositing of the presentations by Insa (approx. 10 minutes) that we shot in a green screen studio with werwiewas.

Most of the photos we used in the animations are from NASA's huge image archive. And for the greenscreen shoot we rented an “almost” genuine spacesuit 🤣

Production management, idea, script, camera, editing and sound was done by our colleagues from werwiewas.
